Recently, our Explosion Protection & Ship Classification team proved how powerful international certifications can be.
During a project kickoff with a major company, installing UP! Detect on three vessels required ship certification. UP! Detect is our latest solution for advanced vibration monitoring enabling early failure detection.
Thanks to outstanding preparation, we presented our freshly issued DNV Type Approval Certificate for PROGNOST®-Chrome ICP and MISC – securing the deal. Without it, the order would’ve been lost. This moment highlights a key truth: Certifications aren’t just formalities – they’re market enablers.
We’ve already achieved approvals for ATEX, IECEx, USA, and Canada, and are now tackling China, Korea, Japan, and India – each with unique challenges. Huge thanks to the team involved for making this milestone possible!
