The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of direct experience in the sale of continuous condition monitoring equipment for reciprocating compressors or gearboxes, be located in the Houston, TX area, and have extensive contacts within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries. A high energy, gregarious personality is a plus, and strong presentation skills to clearly communicate complex, technical material to wide audience levels is a must.
Candidate should have a technical background with experience in heavy industrial equipment (reciprocating compressors, complex gearboxes), and experience with or exposure to machine protection and/or machine condition monitoring systems.
Candidate is expected to be self-motivated, have strong time management and organizational skills, develop and maintain high quality relationships that lead to repeat business, and be willing to travel ~40-60% in North America as needed. The majority of travel will be along the Gulf Coast.
The Systems Sales Manager is responsible for business development and managing the sales of the company’s products within a defined geographic area and ensuring the consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning and efficient time management. They will participate in identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings, and management of Key Accounts through high quality interactions that expand the installation footprint at customer sites. Assist in planning, forecasting, attending, and executing events such as lunch and learns, table top meetings, conferences, and customer events.
