Working from our office in Houston you will be responsible for profitable growth of the product and services revenues in the North America market. You will create and follow up sales leads in North America and maintain a close relationship with our existing customers as their first point of contact. For this position we are looking for a
Sales Manager / Sales Team Leader
with a technical background and experience in rotating equipment (reciprocating/centrifugal machinery, complex gearboxes, pumps, and extruders) operated in industrial processes, and experience with machine protection and/or machine condition monitoring systems.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of direct experience in the sales of continuous condition monitoring equipment of rotating equipment (for reciprocating compressors or gearboxes a plus), be located in the Houston (Clear Lake / Webster), TX area, and have extensive contacts within the Energy Sector, specifically focused in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries. A high energy, convincing personality is a plus, with strong presentation skills to clearly communicate complex, technical material to a wide audience levels is a must.
Candidate is expected to be self-motivated, have strong time management and organizational skills, be capable of managing a team of 2-6 sales professionals, develop and maintain high quality relationships that lead to repeat business, and be willing to travel ~40-60% in North America as needed. The majority of travel will be along the Gulf Coast.
The Systems Sales Manager/Sales Team Leader is responsible for the oversight of the Sales Team and is responsible for business forecast and development and managing the sales of the company’s products within the United States and Canada. They will be responsible for the planning, forecasting, and meeting of company financial goals.
In addition to the Sales Team Leader responsibilities, they are responsible for sales of the company’s products within a mixture of a defined geographic area and key accounts, ensuring the consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning and efficient time management. They will participate in identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings, and management of Key Accounts through high quality interactions that expand the installation footprint at customer sites.
Expectation is that through increased sales and expanded markets served, the sales team will grow by two to three additional members in the next three to five years.
