New local agents in North America and Asia
In December our new local agents for the Russian Federation and South Korea signed their contracts.

Monitoring technology for northern Germany (Hamburg and Walsrode)
10 years of experiences with PROGNOST®-NT: This refinery in Hamburg is one of the very first PROGNOST customers. Through all the years, they equipped all its relevant machinery with PROGNOST®. As of today, seven recips are fully equipped with our latest technology. In the early summer this year, the refinery submitted an impressive p.o. for monitoring equiment for 20 machines, including screw- and turbo compressors as well as pumps. Second, they already have their system updated with PROGNOST®-NT version 10 and prepared one recip for torque measurement. Machine start-up is expected by the end of October.
PROGNOST received a second order for Asset Performance Management systems from Walsrode. The customer operates two recips at the Walsrode natural gas field. These 4-throw Neuman-Esser compressors will be equipped with PROGNOST®-NT until this winter.
New installations at the Europoort in Rotterdam
The refinery near the Europoort operates - beside others - two Thomassen and two Peter Brotherhood compressors. All have been equipped with fully packed PROGNOST®-NT systems within the last 24 month. In course of an expansion program, two new 2-throw Nuovo Pignone recips will came into service. Since this customer is very satisfied with its PROGNOST® installation, these two new assets will be equipped with the monitoring system from the first revolution on.
System installations in Port Arthur (USA)
A refinery in Port Arthur, Texas recently ordered 2 fully equipped PROGNOST®-NT units monitoring four new 2-throw Dresser Rand compressors in make-up gas service. The order includes Safety Protection, Early Failure Detection, Efficiency Optimization and Wear Monitoring.
Another booster/primary compressor monitored by PROGNOST®-NT
Shorty after the first order in the 1st. quarter of this year; the Belarus located LDPE producer plan to monitor another booster/primary compressor with PROGNOST®-NT. Thus all new machines of the modernized LDPE line are monitored by PROGNOST®.

New Customer in Ontario (Canada)
A new Canadian customer located in Ontario has awarded PROGNOST® with a order for a comprehensive monitoring system on a new Nuovo Pignone hyper compressor in LDPE service. NOVA Chemicals is ranked among the world's largest LDPE producers.
Largest single order in 2008 comes out of the plastics business (USA)
Another new PROGNOST customer is located in the plastics business of the USA. The plant in Point Comfort, Texas operates compressors of several designs in PP, HDPE and LLPE service. Eight of these will be equipped with PROGNOST®-NT. This order, represents the largest single order received within the US market in 2008.
Orders from Leuna (Germany)
In plants all over the world, this customer monitors 22 reciprocating compressors with PROGNOST®-NT. This makes the company to our customer with largest number of PROGNOST® equipped assets in this moment. And additional recips are to come! The refinery erects a new desulphurization unit; parts of it are three new 2 throw compressors from the german manufacturer LMF.

Head start into second term of 2008
Repeat orders from existing customers in the USA, Spain and Germany give PROGNOST Systems a strong tailwind for the second term of this year. The number of installations on new reciprocating compressors equals the retro-fits whereas the emerging market in South America take up speed. Facility expansion at PROGNOST Systems headquarters
A new assembly facility in Rheine, Germany will have its start-up in six weeks time. Located in the headquarters building, the space for testing and assembling our systems now have doubled.June 2008
Major order from chemical producer in Canada
Repeat orders from Maitland/Canada are based on positive gains in reliability achieved by their US plants; they ordered monitoring systems for ten compressors and pumps at their plant in Maitland, Ontario. Their USA sites have utilized PROGNOST®-NT as their primary Safety protection system since 2000 in Orange and 2006 in Victoria, Texas.
No summer slump for PROGNOST Systems
With the good experiences they made with PROGNOST®-NT, this refinery ordered additional monitoring units for two plunger pumps for a plant in The Netherlands.Two years ago, this customer gave a presentation describing a real life showcase of how PROGNOST® avoided consequential damages of a failing plunger pump.

Order from Italy based OEM for LDPE plant in Canada
This compressor manufacturer ordered a PROGNOST®-NT system for its customer in Canada. A 12-throw, 20 MW hyper compressor in ethylene service will be commissioned and shipped in course of this year.
Substantial repeat order from the world leader and largest producer of polypropylene and advanced polyolefins products
Having maximum trust and flawless experiences with the technology and competencies of PROGNOST Systems, this customer expanded the order they awarded earlier this year. With this expansion, four lines of booster primary and hyper compressors in LDPE service will be fully equipped with the latest PROGNOST®-NT technologies.

Repeat order from the major petrochemical enterprise in Spain: two 2-cylinder Nouvo Pignone compressors in make-up gas-service will be fully equipped with PROGNOST®-NT in April this year.
Leading energy company in Chile
The leading energy company in Chile said its energy division has started construction work on a liquified natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Mejillones, Antofagasta, Northern Chile. The condition monitoring system for the two Booster compressors between LNG tank and pipeline will be provided by PROGNOST Systems. Installation is anticipated for the fourth quarter this year.

Market entry in Belarus
In summer this year, the first PROGNOST® system will be installed in Belarus. A Burckhardt Compression F8 hyper compressor in LDPE service will be safety monitored and protected with PROGNOST®-NT.
First success with Petrolcarbon in Colombia
PROGNOST Systems`representative Petrolcarbon received the confirmation of P.O for the award of two fully equipped PROGNOST®-NT systems on two LDPE lines in a refinery - 1 hour flight North of Bogota. The project involves five compressors (two Booster Primary and two Hyper compressors).
